Random Planet Generator en

Randomly generate a planet. This generator creates a planet name, several themes with ideas for story hooks, some physical characteristics about the planet, and other potential points of interest in the system. It's based on the tables in the free RPG, Stars Without Number. Even if you do not play the game, it is full of fantastic information on world building, and great random tables to help spur your imagination. 

How It Works

After applying the attribute template, you can view the Attributes section of your entry. Every time you reload the page, the planet will automatically be rerolled. You can manually reroll individual items by clicking on the d20 button next to the labels. Rerolling an item that has sub-sections will reroll the subsections as well. For example, rerolling System Point of Interest also rerolls the occupiers and the situation.

Once you're happy with your new random planet, press the Lock button at the bottom. This will prevent any of the items from changing when you reload the page. However, you can still manually reroll individual items. You can unlock the planet at any time with the Unlock button found at the bottom of the page.
